The Grundy County Finance Committee last month approved a contract with Cott Systems to preserve more than 80-year-old documents in the Grundy County Clerk’s Office.
Grundy County Clerk Kay Olson said the start of the project was approved earlier this year.
She said also part 1 was completed this year.
She said the second phase will begin in early 2021 and will be paid for by the recorder’s documents storage fund.
Olson said the original books being digitized will remain at the Grundy County Clerk’s Office.
