During the recent Covid 19 restrictions, county services have been provided remotely. With the transition to Phase IV of the Restore Plan, the Grundy County Administration, Highway, and Animal Control facilities will resume normal hours of operation for in-person service beginning Monday, June 29th.
The doors will be open for walk-in service, though appointments are strongly recommended. However, to protect their at-risk clients, appointments are required for the offices of Public Health, Veterans Affairs, and Regional Office of Education.
For the protection of at-risk visitors, temporary visitor guidelines are in place:
• Wear a face mask or covering while in the building.
• Please practice social separation.
• If you have a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, do not enter the building
• Please call ahead. Appointments are strongly encouraged.
