Grundy County Veterans’ Assistance Commission Superintendent Ken Buck was on WCSJ’s People are Talking this week discussing opportunities available for area veterans in the New Year.

Beginning February 1st, the Grundy VAC will be expanding their transportation services to provide trips to Edward Hines VA Hospital as well as the Joliet VA clinic four days a week.

Previously they had the resources for only one trip to the hospital and two to the clinic per week. Buck said these locations are ready to serve area veterans while taking precautions against COVID-19.
