Several big ticket items are on the agenda for the Grundy County Board meeting on Tuesday night.
Board members will take action on a text amendment to prohibit the sale of recreational cannabis in unincorporated Grundy County, an intergovernmental agreement with the Village of Diamond for property maintenance enforcement and a special use petition allowing a dog kennel business on Airport Road in Grundy County.
The board will also consider a resolution to allow a bulk fuel and fuel dispensing system at the Grundy County Highway Department.
Other items on the agenda include a resolution for the US Cold Storage Abatement agreement, several non-union employees getting pay increases, and a resolution for Grundy County to participate in the Federal Surplus Property Program.
The board will also approve the amended fiscal year 2018-19 budget, pass the fiscal year 2019-2020 budget as well as place on file eleven levies. Finally, the board will take action on the Grundy County Sheriff Sergeant’s and Deputy Patrol Officers collective bargaining agreements.
The Grundy County Board meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.
