Several businesses were allowed to reopen at part of Phase 3 of the Illinois Restore plan on May 29th. Those included manufacturing, retail stores, barbershops, offices and salons with safety precautions.
Jane Kerr with Apple Butter and Shuggies in downtown Morris said they were elated to be back open.
Kerr also had this to say.
According to the Illinois Department of Commerce, the employer of a retail store should provide hand washing or sanitizer to employees and frequent hand washing by employees and a large supply of soap or hand sanitizer should be available.
