Gov. J.B. Pritzker says Illinois is still heading in the wrong direction with COVID-19 numbers. He provided an update Wednesday afternoon from the Thompson Center in Chicago.
The Governor says if numbers continue to climb, more restrictions could be imposed. Pritzker is placing the responsibility on local leaders to encourage people to social distance and wear masks - which are required in public places in the state.
Region two, which includes Kendall County, has seen eight days of test positivity increases and three days of hospital admission increases. Region one, which includes DeKalb County has seen three days of positivity increases and only one day of hospital admission increases.
