Two individuals from Godley who have been on the run since February have been captured.
Will County court records show 36-year-old Amanda Teruel and 32-year-old Vincent Teruel were charged with Aggravated Identity Theft, a class two felony; Identity Theft, a class three felony and using a forged credit or debit card, a class four felony.
The charge alleges the two individuals stole the identity of a person older than 60 years of age and bought items between $300 and $10,000 at a location somewhere in the Braidwood area on September 26th of 2019
They are also accused of using a forged debit or credit card to obtain goods valued at more than $300 at a location somewhere in Braidwood on October 14th.
The Braidwood Police Department investigated the case and said on Thursday that both individuals are in the Will County Jail.
Police officials learned Amanda Teruel had an active warrant out of Maine for aggravated drug trafficking and Vincent Teruel had an active warrant out of another state for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
