The Gardner Village Board met in regular session Monday evening, opening with the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence in memory of former Village Clerk Denise Muzzarelli.

During public comment, the board heard from resident John Griffin who asked what the village considers a commercial vehicle, as well as several questions regarding the property. Griffin commented that he feels he is being harassed by the village and would like to know why.

Commissioner Dick Hileman responded that due to the question involving ongoing litigation, Griffin needs to discuss the situation with his attorney. Commissioner Rob Wolf commented he feels the Village has carried the situation with Griffin too far.

The board discussed a request for a donation to the GSW High School Trap Shooting Team. Commissioner Dick Hileman noted the gambling revenue has dropped about 50% on the latest treasure’s report and would oppose a donation at this time and moved to table the item.
