A Grundy County man was recently transported to the Illinois Department of Corrections on a drug possession charge.
In September of 2019, Karl Leschber was sentenced to 30 months probation for possessing less than five grams of meth, a class three felony.
In December of 2019, Leschber violated that probation and was resentenced to another 30 months of probation.
In September of 2020, Leschber violated that probation. He was sentenced to two years in prison last month for violating his probation a second time.
Leschber was given credit for serving 65 days in the Grundy County Jail and must serve one year of parole once released from the Illinois Department of Corrections.
