The Dwight Narcotics Unit and the Livingston County Proactive Unit arrested Angelo Cassani, 42, of Dwight at his home in December of 2018 after an investigation was conducted.
Earlier this week, Cassani pled guilty to two counts of manufacturing and delivering between 1 and 15 grams of cocaine, both class one felonies and one count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, a class two felony. Due to his criminal history, prosecutors say Cassani is facing a mandatory class X sentence, which is 6 to 30 years in prison.
He will be sentenced on March 26th. Agencies who assisted with the investigation were the Dwight Police Department, Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and the Livingston County State’s Attorney’s Office.
