Grundy County remains open, via phone and email, to assist residents with their needs. In accordance with Governor’s Executive Order 2020-07, we are modifying our standard practices and procedures to provide essential services and practice social distancing for the protection of the public and our employees.
As a result, the following changes are occurring:
• The County Administration Building will close to the public Thursday, March 19th, at 4:30 pm and remain closed until further notice. The Highway, Transit, and Animal Control buildings are also closed to the public until further notice, as well as the Kendall/Grundy Community Action offices. Staff will continue to provide essential services by conducting business by telephone, USPS, or email. Department contact information is available online at www.grundyco.org.
• The County Court House will remain open. However, most individual offices will be closed to the public until further notice. Court House offices will continue to provide essential services by conducting business by telephone, USPS, or email.
Contact information is available at www.grundyco.org. This situation is very fluid, and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we all address this issue. Please join me in praying for those that are sick and for a solution to quickly stop the virus.
