Grundy County has had around 50 people test positive for Covid-19 in the past 12 days.
Health Director Michelle Pruim said 259 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 in Grundy County. That number was at 208 on July 17th. Of those 259 cases, 134 are female and 125 are male.
The first case was identified on March 23rd and since then 210 people have recovered.
Grundy County mourns the death of five residents who have passed away as a result of COVID-19 complications: one male in his 70's, two females in their 80's and two males in their 90's – each lived with underlying health conditions.
Pruim said 3260 Grundy County residents have been tested for Covid-19 and 3001 were negative.
