Morris Mayor Dick Kopczick was on WCSJ’s People are Talking on Thursday providing an update on the Love’s Truck Stop project.
Kopczick said the city council in late 2020 approved several items allowing Love’s Truck Stop to have a convenient store, Hardees and a NAF NAF Grill inside the facility which will be located at the corner of Route 6 and Brisbin Road in Morris.
He said construction could start this summer.
Kopczick is hoping this project will spur other development in that area.
Kopczick also had this to say when speaking with WCSJ.
The truck stop would have 86 truck spots, 87 parking spots for cars and three spaces for RV's.
