The Dwight Village Board on Monday approved their new committees.

Trustees Justin Eggenberger, Chuck Butterbrodt and Jerry Curtis are on the Public Health and Safety Committee; Marla Kinkade, Butterbrodt, and Randy Irvin will serve on the Public Properties/Utilities Committee; Curtis along with Irvin and Jenny Johnson will sit on the Ordinance, Judicial and Licensing Committee; and the Administration Committee will include Mayor Jared Anderson and all trustees.

Meanwhile, Anderson will be the liquor commissioner.

The board also approved a $222,000 bid from Opperman and Sons of Pontiac for concrete work on Northbrook Drive.
