The Coal City School District will be receiving 225 “Stop the Bleed” kits as part of a grant from ComEd.
Superintendent Kent Bugg explains the details.
Bugg said they are always looking for ways to enhance their school safety plan.
Besides the Village of Diamond, 24 other public agencies received grants up to $10,000 through the ComEd Powering Safe Communities Program.
From digital messaging and speed notification signage to cameras that help locate victims in danger, the projects address critical safety needs in the communities ComEd serves.
