The Coal City School Board on Wednesday heard about the growing issue of residency fraud.
Coal City School Superintendent Kent Bugg spoke to WCSJ about the issue.
Bugg said taxpayers are feeling the impact.
Bugg explains how families are exploiting the system.
We asked Bugg if the incidents are investigated by the Coal City Police Department.
Bugg said the board will be reaching out to investigative services as he plans to report back to the School Board at their August 28 meeting.
