A Chicago man struck a plea agreement with the Grundy County State’s Attorney’s Office on Tuesday, resulting in a prison sentence.
In early April of 2018, 56-year-old Joseph Raboin Jr. was arrested by the Morris Police Department for possession of cocaine. He was indicted on the class four felony charge one week later.
As part of the plea agreement, Raboin was sentenced to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and must serve one year of parole once released from prison.
According to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry, Raboin has convictions for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault and for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender. Both convictions are out of Cook County.
