The Braidwood Police Department arrested a woman for using counterfeit money at a few businesses in July.

Investigators say Toni White, 35, of Braidwood allegedly used a counterfeit $20 bill at a business in Braidwood on July 5th and in Manteno on July 6th.

At the time, White was in possession of numerous counterfeit bills and methamphetamine. After an investigation, an arrest warrant for White was issued as she was taken into custody on September 10th.

The Braidwood Police Department would like to thank the Will County Sheriff’s Office and Manteno Police Department for their help.
