A body was pulled out of the Des Plaines River near Channahon on Monday, July 7th.
The Will County Coroner’s Office said the male was located in the Des Plaines River about one mile downstream from the Des Plaines River Bridge on the north side of the channel in Channahon.
An autopsy has been scheduled for today. The final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date.
The Illinois State Police is investigating the incident and no other details have been released.
