Six new businesses are coming to the area after the Morris Judiciary and License Committee approved licenses on Monday night.

Judiciary and License Committee Chairman Jake Duvick said a business license application was approved for Dustin DelPivo to operate a CBD product sales business at 811 Liberty Street, an application by Ryan Shank to operate a fitness business at 555 Michael Drive, and a business license by Stephany Wojtzack to operate an embroidery business at 760 West Jackson Street.

The committee also approved a business license application by Jacqueline Wickens to operate a women’s boutique business at 310 Liberty Street; an application by Kyle Borchers to operate a woodworking business at 1980 Taller Road and an application to Greg Redford to operate a BBQ catering business at 922 Shabbona Street. 

Meanwhile, the Morris City Council on Monday approved a service renewal agreement with Eaton Corporation for the UPS system at the Morris City Hall.
