A Gooselake man was arrested in Morris. Morris Police Chief John Severson said a purse located in a shopping cart was returned to the service desk inside a business in the 1400 block of Route 47 in Morris around noon on September 6th.

The purse, which had 42 bags of suspected heroin inside it, belonged to a female who was evasive as police officials arrived. Severson said 26 grams of heroin was seized from the purse.

He also stated 56-year-old Randall Kingman admitted to the heroin being his and was later arrested for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.  Kingman remains in the Grundy County Jail.
