A convicted sexual predator charged with eight counts of possessing child porn in Kendall County is now facing a total of three sex related charges in Grundy County.
The Kendall County Sheriff’s Department was called to a house on West Archer Drive for a report of a male attempting to contact a female juvenile in October.
Skyler Roudis, 24, of Morris was later identified as the male, had located where the female lived and went to her residence, despite being told not to.
After an investigation, Roudis allegedly had several images of child porn on his cell phone.
In early 2017, the Morris Police Department said Roudis sexually abused a female between the ages 13 and 17 in Morris.
Roudis was sentenced to 194 days in the Grundy County Jail, placed on 30 months probation and must register as a sex offender for the next ten years on that sexual abuse charge in Grundy County.
In October of 2018, the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department arrested Roudis for violating the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.
Roudis was charged with violating the Illinois Sex Offender Registry, a class 3 felony and this week two aggravated criminal sexual abuse charges were filed against him out of Grundy County.
While investigators searched the phone during the porn case, they discovered a conversation between Roudis and a 15-year-old Morris resident.
The conversations indicated there had been inappropriate sexual contact.
Grundy County court records indicate the alleged sexual contact occurred between August and September of 2018.
Roudis remains in the Kendall County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
