The 72nd Annual Grundy County Corn Festival officially kicks off in downtown Morris on Wednesday.
Corn Fest Committee members Jim Maskel and Cindie Hunt were in our studios this week.
Maskel is reminding people about the cost of corn fest buttons and how you can win prizes.
Maskel also spoke about a change to the beer garden near Wauponsee Street and Illinois Avenue.
Meanwhile, Hunt explained details of the information booth.
Entertainment today includes Dave’s Traveling World of Reptiles in the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office parking lot at 5:30 and 7:30 and the carnival will begin at 5 p.m. and conclude at 8:30 p.m.
Highlighting the night will be the water fights between different fire agencies on Washington Street at 6 p.m. and then the WCSJ/WJDK Talent Showcase on the Jackson Street stage will start at 6:30 p.m.
