The Grundy County Board last night approved replacing security cameras at the Grundy County Jail, sheriff’s office building, and courthouse.
County Administrator George Gray said the board approved a $246,000 bid from Security Automation Systems.
Gray said the bid includes more than just cameras.
Chris Kindelspire, Director of Electronic Operations for the Grundy County Emergency Telecommunications Service Board also spoke during the meeting.
The county board has been talking about replacing the cameras since 2019.
