Plano Police Department: 

Plano Police say one man was injured and another was cited in a Saturday night crash in Plano.

Police officers were called to the intersection of Route 34 and Lakewood Springs Dr. around 11:35 p.m. to investigate the crash where they say 22 year-old Daniel Comiskey Jr. of Kristen St. in Plano was found and was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

The other driver involved, Bryce Freitag, whose age and city of residence were not given, was hospitalized with minor injuries and was taken to Rush Copley Hospital.

He was not cited.

A Plano man was arrested for domestic battery following an incident in Plano on Sunday.

According to the Plano Police Department, officers responded to the 1100 blk. of Woodwind Dr. at around 10:00 p.m. to investigate.

Upon investigation, officers arrested 27-year-old Michael Lorenz Downey of Woodwind Dr. for domestic battery.

Lorenz Downey was transported to the Kendall County Jail.

Oswego Police Department: 

Oswego Police are investigating a hit and run crash in Oswego where a driver allegedly ran into a brick retaining wall and street sign and then fled the scene.

Police were called to the intersection of Madison St. and North St. around 11:21 a.m. on Saturday to investigate.

There is currently no suspect information. An investigation is ongoing.

Officials with the Oswego Police Department are currently investigating a retail theft incident that occurred on Sunday.

According to a report, officers responded to the Oswego Kohl's location in the 2500 blk. of Rt. 34 at around 8:20 p.m. to investigate.

Officers found that $101 in merchandise had been stolen from the store.

This incident is under investigation at this time.

An Oswego man was arrested for domestic battery following an incident in Oswego on Friday.

According to the Oswego Police Department, officers responded to the 200 blk. of Willington Way at around 11:34 a.m. to investigate.

Officers arrested 63-year-old Houli Guo of Willington Way for domestic battery.

Guo was transported to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, and is currently awaiting a Feb. 28 court date.

A Yorkville man was arrested for DUI following an incident in Oswego on Sunday.

According to the Oswego Police Department, officers responded to the area of Chicago Rd. and Bednarcik Ct. at around 2:29 a.m. to investigate.

Officers arrested 22-year-old Andrew Fowler of Blackberry Ln. in Yorkville for DUI and DUI over .08.

Fowler was additionally cited for improper parking, parking where prohibited.

Fowler is currently awaiting a Feb. 26 court date.

Oswego Police say an Aurora man was hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash in Oswego on Sunday morning.

Police were called to the intersection of Route 30, east of Treasure Dr. around 5:47 a.m. to investigate.

At the crash scene, they found that a vehicle being driven by 19 year-old Ulysses Jurardo of West Chicago and a vehicle being driven by 33 year-old Jael Portillo of Aurora, collided at the intersection.

Portillo was taken to Rush Copley Hospital to be checked for injuries.

No citations were issued in the crash.

Yorkville Police Department: 

An Oswego woman was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop in Yorkville on Sunday.

According to the Yorkville Police Department, officers performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 200 blk. of Veterans Pkwy. at around 1:14 a.m.

Officers found that the driver of the vehicle, 33-year-old Donna Demarco of Manhattan Cir. in Oswego, was driving under the influence of alcohol.

Officers arrested Demarco for DUI and driving while license suspended. Demarco had three valid in-state warrants for her arrest.

An Aurora man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop in Yorkville on Sunday.

According to the Yorkville Police Department, officers performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Countryside Pkwy. and Rt. 34 at around 6:02 p.m.

Officers arrested the driver of the vehicle, 29-year-old Miguel Lozano of Glen Circle Dr. in Aurora, for DUI. Lozano was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol.

A passenger in Lozano's vehicle, 31-year-old Janet Lopez of Paddock St. in Montgomery was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol.

A Yorkville woman was issued a citation following a two-vehicle accident in Yorkville on Friday.

According to the Yorkville Police Department, officers responded to an accident in the area of Rt. 47 and Van Emmon St. at around 1:00 p.m.

Officers found that a vehicle being driven by 65-year-old Karen Latoszewski of E. Van Emmon St. struck the passenger rear side door of a vehicle being driven by 56-year-old Jacquelyn Hersam of Chesnut Ln. in Yorkville.

The accident caused Hersam's vehicle to spin a strike a barrier on the right side of Rt. 47.

Both units sustained moderate damage.

Hersam was transported to Rush Copley Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Latoszewski was issued a citation for disobeying a traffic control device - no turn on red.

Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 

Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred in Boulder Hill on Saturday.

According to a report, deputies responded to the 0-99 blk. of Field Point Rd. at around 1:00 p.m. on Sunday for a vehicle burglary that had occurred the night before.

The victim reported to deputies that there had been some personal items taken from one of their vehicles.

Both vehicles were reported to be unlocked during the incident.

This incident is under investigation at this time.

A Montgomery woman was arrested for domestic battery following an incident in Boulder Hill on Sunday.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 100 blk. of Heathgate Rd. at around 8:00 a.m. to investigate.

During an investigation, 39-year-old Guillermina Montalvo-Almanza of Montgomery was arrested for domestic battery.

Montalvo-Almanza was transported to the Kendall County Jail without incident.

Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating a theft that occurred in Boulder Hill on Wednesday.

According to a report, deputies responded to the 0-100 blk. of Marnel Rd. at around 10:50 a.m. on Friday to investigate.

The complainant told deputies that someone had stolen pool equipment for his above-ground pool.

A pool pump, pool heater and hose valued at around $250 were taken in the incident.

The investigation is on-going.

Kendall County Sheriff's Office officials are currently investigating a theft that occurred in Oswego on Saturday.

According to a report, deputies responded to the 5000 blk. of Douglas Rd. at around 8:56 a.m. to investigate.

The complainant reported that someone entered a shed a stole a snow-blower over night.

The value of the snow-blower is estimated at $950.

This incident is under investigation at this time.
